Stormy dreams

Last night I dreamt I was in my childhood home in IL, completely as it used to be. Blue walls, fluffy blue carpet, and dark wooden bookshelf. I was the only one there because my parents had moved. There was a huge rainstorm and at first I was comforted by it as it reminded me so much of cozy nights under the covers reading books. But then I noticed the carpet seemed strange. I looked closer. I was down on my hands and knees and I saw water pushing the carpet threads down. Water was seeping in through the wall. Soon the rain got heavier and thunder was booming outside. The top left corner of my wall near the ceiling started leaking and soon the wall was melting away and I could see the sky outside.

I was in a panic. I didn't know what to do. I first thought of calling a parent but remembered no one but me was there and they had left the house behind. I came back to the present and realized the rain was bound to get in the other side where my bookshelf was and I started piling my books from the bottom shelf on my bed away from the leaks. As I was making these moves the entire wall melted away from the beams and I was left exposed to the rain and wind. My bookshelf crumbled from its standing place to the street below. I remembered the sky was midnight blue.

Then my dream shifted and I was on the trails in the Grand Canyon on my way to Havasupai. I was being followed by a mountain goat. I couldn't believe it, it didn't make sense. Then the mountain goat started throwing rocks at me. At first they we were in my general direction but far enough away that I just thought it was strange, then they were being through closer and closer to me until I couldn't deny it any longer. The goat was throwing the rocks straight at me!
